Cross Country

 

Cross Country Saskatchewan (CCS) is a discipline of winter skiing governed by SASKI. CCS is a nonprofit volunteer directed organization. Membership is club-based where skiers belong to CCS and SASKI.

 

The CCS mission is to develop and maintain support structure for the delivery of Cross Country Ski programs to a broad section of the Saskatchewan community; to increase the number of youth registered in skiing clubs, programs and events; and to assist the development of self-sustaining Cross Country Ski clubs through development of facilities, coaches, officials, and grass roots programs. It also promotes cross country skiing as part of a healthy physical and mental lifestyle; achieves national competitive excellence by the establishment and maintenance of a high performance system in Saskatchewan; and acts as the official representative for cross country skiing in Saskatchewan to CCC, SASKI and Sask Sport Inc.

 

Cross Country Saskatchewan offers the following recreational activities and competitive races;

  2. Premium Loppet series

  3. Provincial race series and championship

  4. Learn to Ski programs for schools and clubs

  5. Ski Fit North
